The initial idea for Wombot.io was to incorporate a robot, or "bot" within the design. Mike, the owner, wanted to convey the capabilities through the logo itself. The "Wom" in Wombot stands for word-of-mouth, a speech bubble was used for the first concept.
After the initial concept was completed, Mike and I brainstormed additional ideas to see what we could come up with. We wanted to design more of a mascot for Wombot, an actual bot who would be the face of the platform.
The final design was a combination of the previously used font and the new mascot bot. The Wombot project is live and can be seen at Wombot.io!
